Celeste Fichter

archival inkjet print, thread and map pin

Edition: 20

Fichter practices a kind of studied looseness. In this piece a photo of a jumbo jet coming in for a landing is literally suspended by a thread. The image balances perfectly and the thread aligns exactly with the jet’s tailfin. Signed and numbered.
