Onnen has often drawn from early animation techniques. This print is a phenakistiscope animation, an animation device popular in the 19th century. A sequence of discrete images on the outside of a disc become animated when the disc is spun. Produced at the Frans Masereel Centrum. Signed, numbered and dated in pencil. With Frans Masereel Centrum blind stamp.
