Elegisch

Patrick Couder (b. 1959) lives and works in Zaventem, Belgium. He is a criminologist and does studies in drawing and etching. "I don’t want to linger on the question ‘what am I going to draw or to make?' I want to start immediately. That’s why I collect photographs from newspapers and magazines. I can then always take one of them, sit down and start to draw."
