What you have here is a piece of coconut glued to a piece of wood. The artist sanded and polished this piece of coconut to a high gloss and then buffed it to a near mirror finish. It is not magic and it will not heal you, but it is nice to hold. When you gaze into a Death Mirror, you can see clear reflections of light sources, but only a dim version of yourself. Depending on the light, you might appear as a shadow; it’s not especially affirming. Natural flaws in the coconut remain, as do your own flaws. The pieces are also fragile, as are you. Each Death Mirror comes with a “Death Buddy”. The buyer is meant to give away the “Death Buddy”. Numbered and initialed.
