This piece is the second in a series of works examining how truth and fact change with the passage of time and how we formulate knowledge. All the Things I Don’t Know was created over a month in which each day Stein wrote down several things she didn’t know.
Anna Stein is a visual artist whose work investigates what we know about history and how we know it. She received a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in 2001. Her work has been exhibited in New York and New England including Longwood Gallery, Front Room and Real Art Ways. She currently works in Brooklyn, NY creating site-specific installation, sculpture, prints and drawings which examine the potential for an alternative version of western art history.
